A: This is a bit tricky. Some shops will throw around the word “authorized” because it is an ambiguous term. But here’s the easy answer.
Samsung, Apple, Google, and other manufacturers do not authorize any independent owned repair shops to do repairs. There are some stores that are actually authorized but most people prefer not to use them for the following reasons:1- They have strict guidelines for repair
They will not touch your device if it was fixed before
Any damage to the frame or other components which we can fix for free will cause them to decline the repair
If you have specific models that fall out of their authorized repairs, they will not touch it2- Appointments at these locations are generally booked for days
3- Repairs that should take 15 minutes can take upto several hours
4- Pricing is generally higher for most repairs
5- Most of these dealers only fixed parts that are authorized by the manufacturer.
